Self-Storage solves problems for Crewe Start Up

September 1, 2016

Storage Boost Crewe Welcome a local online start-up business selling tv, music and gaming merchandise, Raqnation.

Storage Boost, the self-storage facility on Weston Road, are celebrating their newest addition to the centre’s business community, Raqnation. As a local online start-up business selling tv, music and gaming merchandise, Raqnation needed to find a cost effective and flexible solution to storing their growing supply of stock.

As well as selling at trade shows, Raqnation’s owner Rachael Haspell was seeing an increase in sales through her website and needed an order picking area for t-shirts, mugs and figures. Within a few days of setting up their headquarters at Storage Boost, Rachael had shelving fitted in the unit to help organise the stock and to facilitate the order picking process. Combined with the flexibility and small overheads that Storage Boost offers, the main benefit for Rachael was the on-site Reception team to accept deliveries on her behalf.

Rachael, founder of Raqnation said “Storage Boost have been a great help for me getting started. The best part for me was the fact that it was an indoor, manned, secure site, taking deliveries in for me so that I am not waiting around for parcels. All the staff have been very supportive and friendly”.

With branches based in Stafford, Crewe and Chester, Storage Boost have become an important hub for entrepreneurial business minds with hundreds of small businesses using the centre’s flexible storage, workshop and office units.

Co-Founder Nick Wood states “As a family run company with experience in start-ups, we value the importance of flexibility and scalability when starting and growing new business ventures. At Storage Boost assisting businesses to find their feet, flourish and grow, is one of our passions and we pride ourselves on the fact that we have helped thousands of people achieve their goals since opening in 2005.”
